The ladies auxiliary at Concordia Life Care Community held a Christmas open house, Concordia’s 12 Days of Christmas.

The Dec. 9 event included tours of holiday homes, carols by the Concordia Chorus, a raffle for a gift basket fundraiser, desserts and horse-drawn carriage rides to see festive lights and the “12 Days of Christmas” display.

All proceeds benefited Concordia’s benevolent care fund for residents in need of financial assistance to remain in their homes.

Concordia is a life care community where residents can live independently and be guaranteed access to assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing or long-term care should the need arise, according to a news release.

Concordia is a nonprofit organization committed to upholding Christian values by serving the community through programs, including free Wellness on Wheels clinics, mobile meals and more.
