Below is a list of the dedicated senior living team members who make it all possible:
Danny Eischen – Executive Director
Danny Eischen holds a Master’s of Gerontology from the University of Central Oklahoma and a B.A. in Psychology from Oklahoma State University. He is licensed as a healthcare administrator in Oklahoma. He has worked in Senior Living for the past 15 years and got his start in this field through a volunteer opportunity. Danny resides in Kingfisher with his wife Lisa and their four children.
Jerod Buttram – Associate Director
Jerod Buttram was hired by Concordia as the Business Services Director on February 26, 2007 before moving into his current role in 2015. Jerod and his family moved from Raton, New Mexico, to Oklahoma City in July 2006. He has a strong financial background with several years of experience as an office manager, accountant and CFO in the healthcare-related area. Jerod, his wife Danielle, and his two teenage daughters, Shaundra and Jalie, were looking for a larger community with many more opportunities than the small rural community of Raton – Oklahoma City has provided everything they hoped for.
David Pickens – Business Service Director
David Pickens is a lifelong Oklahoman. He has a BA in Psychology and an MBA, both from the University of Oklahoma. He spent many years working as a Finance and Administrative Manager in the construction industry. David joined the Concordia team as Business Services Director in 2014.
Paige Mills-Haag – Director of Fund Development
Paige Mills-Haag comes to Concordia with 15 years of experience in the corporate world and nearly eight years of experience in the nonprofit sector to include philanthropy, marketing, project management, program management, event planning and operations. She joined the Concordia team as Director of Fund Development on February 4, 2013.
Paige is a native of Oklahoma and grew up in Broken Arrow where she graduated from Broken Arrow High School. She attended Oklahoma State University for three years and received her Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership from Southern Nazarene University in 2000. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, OSU football, meeting new people and serving God and her community. Paige and her husband, Kim, live in northwest Oklahoma City.
Teresa Black – Dining Services Director
In June 2010, Teresa joined the Concordia team starting as a dining server. Shortly after serving, she was promoted to the Prep Cook position. She held that position for six months before being promoted to Dining Manager. In 2016, Teresa became Concordia’s Dining Services Director. You can find Teresa laughing and joking with Concordia residents all the time! Teresa and husband, Anthony, are proud Oklahomans who love dancing, skating and just having a good time. Teresa has two daughters and four grandchildren who keep her feeling young enough to do whatever they do. She also enjoys taking family cruises!
Guyna Reynolds – Health Services Administrator
Guyna Reynolds joined the Concordia team in October 2016 as Health Services Administrator. She graduated from the LPN Program in 1989 and obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Administration in 2003. Guyna has dedicated her entire career to serving in long term care in various capacities to include Certified Nurse Aide, Certified Medication Aide, Charge Nurse, Medicare Coordinator, Staff Development and Assistant Director of Nursing before becoming Administrator in 2003. In her spare time, Guyna enjoys sewing, reading and playing with her animals. Guyna is proud to be a lifelong Oklahoman! Her family includes one son, two grandchildren, two stepchildren and two step-grandchildren.
Megan Carter – Independent Living Lifestyles and Transportation Director
Megan graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Health Education and Promotion. She worked as a Rehabilitation Training Specialist during college. Megan has worked for Concordia Life Plan Community for four years. She started as an Intern, and was then hired as Concordia’s Memory Support Activities Coordinator where she served for three and a half years. Megan was honored as the Leading Age Oklahoma ‘Outstanding Employee for Resident Services of the Year’ in 2014. Since early 2015, Megan has served as Concordia’s Independent Living Lifestyles and Transportation Director. She coordinates all aspects of Concordia’s Wellness on Wheels Program and works closely with leadership and nurses to secure volunteers and resources for the program.
Megan enjoys volunteering and has participated in numerous volunteer events and held leadership roles with several organizations to include Up Til Dawn, The Big Event, Relay For Life, Special Olympics, Alzheimer’s Association, Into the Streets, Aggies Spirit Club-President and Distinguished Young Women Program. Megan was married to her husband Michael Carter in November 2014. Interests include spending time with her husband, family and friends, traveling and playing sports.
