About the panelists:
Rhonda Nowlin, CSA, CLTC, Senior Living Advisor
Rhonda is a Senior Living Advisor at Concordia Life Care Community and an Independent Long-Term Care Insurance producer. She has her BA and MA in Communications from Southern Nazarene University and is certified as both a Senior Advisor (CSA) and in Long Term Care (CLTC). Rhonda’s passion is to help families with a plan as well as through the process of long-term care.
Dan Yancey, Senior Financial Resources and Benefits Expert
Representing Senior Resources & Benefits as a Community Member, Dan has more than 40 years of experience in areas including retirement income planning, VA benefits and Medicaid planning. His goal is to assist families in protecting their hard-earned assets from inflation, stock market volatility and the high cost of long-term care. Dan holds a bachelor’s in Marketing from the University of Oklahoma.
Julie Davis, Marketing Director of Concordia
As a firm believer in the power of healthy living, Julie has long been a champion for the lifestyle today’s older adults are seeking. Her career began at the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas, where she served for 11 years as Health and Wellness Director as well as Membership Director. In 2008 she entered the senior living community field, and today, she’s the Marketing Director at Concordia, where she enjoys educating and assisting older adults and their families as they navigate a variety of housing options.
Dr. Nikki Buckelew, PhD, Founder of Senior Real Estate Institute
Nikki Buckelew is a full-time coach, realtor, trainer and speaker dedicated to helping older adults. The founder of the Senior Real Estate Institute, she holds a PhD in geropsychology. Nikki’s training, coaching, speaking and consulting covers areas including real estate, senior housing, seniors’ real estate, senior move management and corporate leadership. Her company also founded and leads the SREI Legacy Conference to help better serve the growing senior community.
