Concordia is proud to be actively involved in giving back to the community. We participate in and host a wide variety of community fundraisers, from garage sales and luncheons to furniture drives.
Join us for Concordia’s 7th Annual Garage Sale Fundraiser! Charitable donations appreciated! Please drop off your donated items to Zion Lutheran Church before the event. Donations are tax deductible. Proceeds will provide benevolent care to Concordia Life Care residents. Support this great cause! Grab your friends and family and enjoy a fun evening of baseball, fellowship and fun at the Lutheran Family Night with Concordia at the OKC Dodgers game on Friday, August 9th, at 7:05pm at the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. Group tickets have been reserved and you can purchase your tickets after the first of the year. Check back for more information and a promotional flyer. Tickets are just $14 per person and include the baseball game, a free baseball cap, a Braum’s Friends and Family meal voucher, and fireworks after the game! $3 per ticket purchased will be donated to Concordia’s Good Samaritan Fund to provide benevolent care.
Help provide community support through furniture drives or fundraisers! When you donate durable medical equipment and furniture to Concordia Life Care Community, you are supporting seniors in our community—we give the DME and furniture to seniors who need our help, often during a difficult time in their life (Wish List). The items and funds collected help Concordia Life Care Community provide assistance to older adults and seniors who would otherwise go without basic necessities.
It’s easy to get started with your own furniture drive or fundraiser. Register your drive or fundraiser and our Director of Development will follow up within 5 business days to confirm your information.
Join us as a community partner by sponsoring a furniture drive or fund drive at your workplace, school, place of worship, or religious or civic organization. Your support is welcome and appreciated throughout the year!

Looking Back at 2018’s Annual Fundraising Luncheon:
The Concordia Annual Luncheon of 2018 featured keynote speaker Jane Jenkins, CEO and President of Downtown Oklahoma City Partnership. Attendees enjoyed hearing Jane share about the exciting growth and revitalization of downtown Oklahoma City. Guests were also treated to a catered 3-course meal, melodies from the 20’s and 30’s performed by Nostalgia Live and information about Concordia Life Care Community.
