Concordia is proud to be actively involved in giving back to the community. We participate in and host a wide variety of community fundraisers, from garage sales and luncheons to furniture drives.

Concordia’s 6th Annual Garage Sale Fundraiser – Proceeds provide benevolent care for residents!

Join us for Concordia’s 6th Annual Garage Sale Fundraiser! Donations appreciated! Please drop off your donated items to Zion Lutheran Church on Sept. 24-25 (Mon. or Tues.) between 4pm-6:30pm. Donations are tax deductible. Proceeds will provide benevolent care to Concordia Life Care residents. Support this great cause! Call 405-219-2927 with questions, to donate items or to volunteer to help with the garage sale prep that week.

  • Location: Zion Lutheran Church, 7701 W. Britton Road, OKC, OK 73132 (INDOOR SALE)
  • Date/Time: Thursday, Sept. 27, 2018 from 8:00am-6:00pm AND Friday, Sept. 28, 2018 from 8:00am-4:00pm
  • Donations: Please drop off your garage sale donations inside Zion Lutheran Church on Sept. 24 or Sept. 25 (Monday-Tuesday) between 4:00pm-6:30pm.
  • Volunteers: We need lots of volunteers during the week of Sept. 24th! Please call Paige at 405-219-2927 if you can volunteer a 2-hour or 4-hour shift any day or evening during that week.

Host A Furniture Drive Or Fundraiser

Help provide community support through furniture drives or fundraisers! When you donate durable medical equipment and furniture to Concordia Life Care Community, you are supporting seniors in our community—we give the DME and furniture to seniors who need our help, often during a difficult time in their life (Wish List). The items and funds collected help Concordia Life Care Community provide assistance to older adults and seniors who would otherwise go without basic necessities.

It’s easy to get started with your own furniture drive or fundraiser. Register your drive or fundraiser and our Director of Development will follow up within 5 business days to confirm your information.

Join us as a community partner by sponsoring a furniture drive or fund drive at your workplace, school, place of worship, or religious or civic organization. Your support is welcome and appreciated throughout the year!

Concordia’s Annual Fundraising Luncheon hosted by the Ladies Auxiliary of Concordia “Nostalgia – Then and Now”

Please join us for Concordia’s Annual Fundraising Luncheon, “Nostalgia – Then and Now”, hosted by the Ladies Auxiliary of Concordia. The lunch program features keynote speaker Jane Jenkins, CEO and President of Downtown Oklahoma City Partnership, who will share about the exciting growth and revitalization of downtown Oklahoma City. Guests will also enjoy a catered 3-course meal, melodies from the 20’s and 30’s performed by Nostalgia Live, and information about Concordia Life Care Community.

Be a part of the fun and fellowship and reserve your seat by calling Concordia’s Concierge at 405-720-7200 by August 3. Cost is $20.00 per person. Event proceeds benefit Concordia’s Good Samaritan Fund for benevolent care.

Guests will enjoy learning about Downtown OKC Partnership (DOKC), a not-for-profit organization created in 2000 to serve as advocates, coordinators, facilitators and communicators for downtown revitalization. DOKC work closely with partners in both the public and private sector to ensure the greater downtown area continues to flourish.

Proceeds from the luncheon will support Concordia’s Good Samaritan Fund to provide assistance to Concordia life care residents who outlive their resources, through no fault of their own, and need assistance to remain in their home.

Sponsorships are available starting at $100 up to $1,500. Please contact Paige Mills-Haag, Development Director at 405-219-2927 for sponsorship information and benefits by June 15th.
