Concordia is proud to be actively involved in giving back to the community. We participate in and host a wide variety of community fundraisers, from garage sales and luncheons to furniture drives.
Now in its fourth year, Concordia’s Garage Sale Fundraiser will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, Thursday-Friday, June 23-24, 2016. Proceeds give back to the community and benefit Concordia’s Good Samaritan Fund to provide benevolent care to Concordia life care residents who are facing the end of their resources, through no fault of their own, and need assistance to remain in their home.
Now in its third year, the Ladies Auxiliary of Concordia has planned another exceptional luncheon for all to enjoy! This year’s theme is “Patriotic Promenade” and guests will delight in lunch by Romano’s Macaroni Grill, entertainment by Harpist Barbara Bonham, beautiful fashions presented by Christopher and Banks, and a special keynote address by Mrs. LaDonna Meinders.
A goodwill offering will close out the show with proceeds benefitting the Good Samaritan Fund to provide benevolent care to residents facing the end of their resources, through no fault of their own, and need assistance to remain in their home. Join us for a fun day and support a wonderful cause!

Help provide community support through furniture drives or fundraisers! When you donate durable medical equipment and furniture to Concordia Life Care Community, you are supporting seniors in our community—we give the DME and furniture to seniors who need our help, often during a difficult time in their life (Wish List). The items and funds collected help Concordia Life Care Community provide assistance to older adults and seniors who would otherwise go without basic necessities.
It’s easy to get started with your own furniture drive or fundraiser. Register your drive or fundraiser and our Director of Development will follow up within 5 business days to confirm your information.
Join us as a community partner by sponsoring a furniture drive or fund drive at your workplace, school, place of worship, or religious or civic organization. Your support is welcome and appreciated throughout the year!
